the box does now also have pc's and related games.
there are a number of restuarants in the area that are open late eg. steers in the main rd at the engen garage is 24hrs. but no eating at the consoles!!!

hey kids...
its finally that time of year...most of the committee is graduating and therefore we need new people to lead the society onwards and upwards.
so if you are interested and a registered student at UCT and will be again next year please email me by the 5th of October because the agm and voting will take place on the 9th of October. the following 2 days (10 and 11 october) the university will be hosting a societies workshop and you are required to attend!

the email should include a short letter of motivation and a list of your 5 favorite anime or mangas. please consider your timetable for next year when applying because you will need to give up free time for meetings and events.

Another insult of a vacation is upon us which means that you kids are awarded the privilege of being able to watch anime on a big screen for an entire day.
You kids can decide which animes you'd like to watch so list them here and apachai, at some point, will compile a list from which you are expected to vote (like a normal screening).

The screening will take place on the 8th of September which is next tuesday. The duration of the screening is from 10am until 5pm and it will take place somewhere in leslie social science we're just waiting for confirmation of the exact venue.

NB: even though there will be a poll to vote for tuesday's schedule, the people who are actually at the screening will decide what is shown, so if they don't want to watch what is scheduled they can say and we'll show something else.
