I am sure you are wondering just who we are, and what we are all about If this is the case, read on: As Genshiken, our aim is to educate people about anime. We plan to have screenings of anime on campus, and through this thread inform people about this medium of entertainment that is just sooo addictive. We are a bunch of students at the University of Cape Town (UCT) that loooove anime. (We are just a bunch of Fanboys, really!) We decided to pull together and form a society which UCT has never really had before. As far as I know, many guys have tried, but maybe because the task was too big, or there was not enough support, It just didn't happen. To all those guys, thank you. You at least kept anime going before we got here. |
